Maximize Google Adsense Revenue

The first name which comes to everyone while talking about PPC Program is Google adsense. It is by far is the most popular contextual advertising program used by publishers worldwide.
The following optimization tips can help you increase your Google Adsense dollars:
Step1: Make sure the ads that are appearing on your site are closely related with your content. For doing this create open topic one page, use your keywords in page title, also check your keyword rich content and then mark some of your keywords as bold or italic.
Step2: Increase your keyword density. If you use the proper keyword density in your content, you will attract more targeted ads. Your visitors are far more likely to click on a relevant ad. Targeted ads usually pay more per click too.
Step3: Use Online Keyword research tools like Overture Keyword Tool, Google Keyword Research Tool and Goodkeywords.com. You can also try the free trial of Word Tracker and if you like, pay for the service. Other excellent paid keyword research tools include NicheBot and KeywordElite.
Step4: Use wide ads (336×280, 300×250 or 250×250). Because there are the best performing ads.
Step5: No Border ads. One of the best ways is to erase the borders of Adsense ads and make them merge with the website’s background color.
Step6: You can embed your Adsense ads in your content. You should surround the ads with the content of the page. This is where your visitors will be looking, so you should also give them ads to read and maybe click on if they’re interested.
Step7: Place an image near your ads because user tends to look at this section.
Step8: Rotate Google Adsense Ads Colors to Reduce Ad Blindness. To prevent regular users from ignoring the ads, you can officially rotate up to 4 different types of color palettes for your adsense ads. When you are selecting the color scheme for the adsense ads, press the Ctrl key, scroll up or down with the arrow keys and select multiple color schemes with the SPACE bar.
Step9: Track your ads. Google gives you up to the ability to track ads by web page or by the type of ads displayed. They give you up to 200 custom channels for you to use. Experiment with different ad types and positions to see which suites best.
Step10: Use the Adsense for search box. It’s always a good idea to give your visitors the ability to search your site. If you use Adsense’s search box, you would be paid for visitors who click on the ads in the search results page.
Step11: Do not rely on one website. The more sites you have, the more ads have the potential to get clicked.
Step12: Use site maps. Use Google’s site map. It visits your site and will crawl it much sooner that any other submission process.

Step3: Go to HKEY_USERS > .Default > Control Panel > Desktop > FontSmoothingType >Modify Hexadecimal DWORD Value to 2

Make sure both of these values are set to 2 and you'll have ClearType enabled on the Welcome screen and on each new user by default.

Increase your RAM speed

Step1: Start any application, say Word. Open some large documents.

Step2: Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to open Windows Task Manager and click Processes tab and sort the list in descending order on Mem Usage. You will notice that WINWORD.EXE will be somewhere at the top, using multiple MBs of memory.

Step3: Now switch to Word and simply minimize it. (Don't use the Minimize All Windows option of the task bar).

Step4: Now go back to the Windows Task Manager and see where WINWORD.EXE is listed. Most probably you will not find it at the top. You will typically have to scroll to the bottom of the list to find Word. Now check out the amount of RAM it is using. Surprised? The memory utilization has reduced by a huge amount.

Step5: Minimize each application that you are currently not working on by clicking on the Minimize button & you can increase the amount of available RAM by a substantial margin. Depending upon the number and type of applications you use together, the difference can be as much as 50 percent of extra RAM.

In any multitasking system, minimizing an application means that it won't be utilized by the user right now. Therefore, the OS automatically makes the application use virtual memory & keeps bare minimum amounts of the code in physical RAM.

Speed up your internet by 20%

Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and interrogating your PC etc
You can get it back:
Step1: Click Start then Run and type "gpedit.msc" without quotes. This opens the group policy editor.
Step2: Then go to:
Local Computer Policy
Step3: then Computer Configuration
then Administrative Templates then Network then QOS Packet Scheduler and then to Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

Step4: Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e."By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."
Step5: So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.It works on Win 2000 as well.

You may have tried many tweaks like modifying windows XP start-up applications, prefetches, unload DLLs method, etc. And yes those methods do work for me.
There is  another way to give an extra boost in windows XP's boot performance. This is done by disabling your unused devices in
Device Manager. for example, if you don't have input devices that are connected to one of your USB's or COM ports, disabling them will give you an extra performance boost in booting.
Step1:Go to Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > device manager
Step1: Disable devices that you don't use for your PC and then restart.

Single Click Shutdown Of Windows

Did you know that in Windows XP you can shut down your computer from the (eventually DOS prompt) command line box? Moreover, you can do this by clicking your mouse only once.
All you need to do is...

Step1: Right-click on an empty Desktop spot > select New > Shortcut > type shutdown followed by a space, and then
Step2: Enter one or more of the parameters listed below > click Next > type a suggestive name for your new shortcut > finally, click Finish.

This is the Shutdown.exe (located in %systemroot%\System32, usually C:\Windows\System32)

Syntax:
shutdown [-i|-l|-s|-r|-a] [-f] [-m file://computername/] [-t xx] [-c "Text"] [-d[u][p]:xx:yy]>
Valid command line switches:
-a = Abort system shutdown in progress ONLY IF the -t xx timeout option was already set to ANY value other than 0. ALL switches except -l and -m are ignored during abort.
-c "Text" = Text comment (case insensitive) to be displayed in the Message area of the System Shutdown window. MUST be enclosed between quotes. Maximum allowed 127 ASCII characters.
-d [u][p]:xx:yy = Reason code for shutdown:
u = User code.
p = Planned shutdown code.
xx = Major reason code. Positive integer number less than 256.
yy = Minor reason code. Positive integer number less than 65536.
-f = Force running applications to close without warning.
-i = Display the shutdown interface (GUI). MUST be the first option!
-l = Log off the current user of the local computer (default action). Can NOT be used with the -m option unless the current user has Sysadmin rights, in which case the -m switch takes precedence.
-m file://computername/ = Remote/network computer name (most always case sensitive) to log off/restart/shut down. Current user MUST have Sysadmin rights to be allowed to use this switch!
-s = Shut down the local computer.
-r = Shut down and restart (reboot) the local computer.
-t xx = Set shutdown timer to timeout for xx seconds. IF NOT specified defaults to 20 seconds. Allowed values between 0 and 99 seconds. The -a switch is the ONLY one that CAN be used during the timeout period.

NOTES:
The dash (-) in front of these switches can be replaced by a forward slash (/).
Spaces are NOT required to separate the shutdown command from ANY following switches, but ARE required to separate ANY switch from its following parameter(s), if any.
For example:
shutdown -s -c "Shutting down!" -t 3
tells your computer to shutdown after waiting for 3 seconds while the System Shutdown window will display text above in the Message area.

Optional:  After you're done creating your customized shortcut for shutdown > right-click on it > select Properties > enter your desired key "combo" in the Shortcut Key box (e.g. Ctrl + Alt + End) > click OK/Apply.
From now on just left-click on your shutdown shortcut or hit that key combination to turn off/restart/log off your computer.
